Storage Tips:
Because peaches and nectarines do not ripen off the tree, Stemilt picks these fruits only when they reach full maturity. Both are tree-ripened and should be ready to eat upon arrival. Like other ripe fruits, you should keep peaches and nectarines in the refrigerator, away from strong-smelling foods, until you are ready to eat it. Both fruits will keep for up to 10 days if refrigerated.
If you prefer super-soft peaches or nectarines, allow them to ripen at room temperature for a day or two. Check the firmness daily by gently squeezing the fruit in the palm of your hand. Once it meets your preferences, the fruit will be ready to enjoy!
